In starting this business I have had so many people that have encouraged and helped me that I thought I would share their businesses with you.
Freyr and Lou from www.tiddlesandchich.com.au - I went to interview these two girls one sunny afternoon after they had just released their first childrens wear line for Winter 08. I was overwhelmed not only with the range of clothing, but how brave these two girls were. Neither had any experience in fashion or design but saw an opportunity in young childrens clothing and they went for it. I walked away thinking - what am I doing, I have had 20 years experience in fashion - get cracking girl!!! So thankyou Freyr and Lou for inspiring me to start. Julie Lemmon from www.cradlerock.com.au . Julie and I worked at Sportsgirl together in buying, boy did we have some fun!! Jules has been one of the pioneers of online shopping for kids and has built this amazing store based on great gift ideas and clothing for kids. Julie has been a fountain of knowledge with setting up www.littlefuchsia.com.au and I will be forever grateful - check out her site, it's a cracker!
Naomi Orsillo from www.tribu.com.au told me about a trade fair in Hong Kong one afternoon - 3 days later I was on a plane sourcing some fantastic product, pulling all my packaging ideas together and designing the range!! Check out Naomi's up to date accessories on her site.
